This was by far the largest success of a Creator Coins in a long time, with Nick's content getting 100's Millions of views
When we take a look at the coin, in the 20 days it's been live there's been ~17,000 that have held the coin
4,000 of these were new wallets with no previous activity or "new" users.
To make Creator Coins a success it seems it would take +10 creators with the same impact/reach of Nick and this would be...a challenge

For anything to go Exponential at scale it needs time, crypto has trended towards shorter time horizons is the issue
Having been in the space for +10 years it's been amazing to see how far it's come however the financialization of everything (which crypto does) creates a unique issue where short term thinking can often be the best strategy financially
This has been amplified by last cycles memecoins but nothing new as this has been seen ever since og ICOs. However the trend has been shorter and shorter time outlooks
Coupled with social trends towards instant gratification, 100's (1000's?) of memecoins launching a day brought an all time low of how long you'd want to hold a token
While 99.999% of these aren't building projects for the long term they've impacted behavior and imo made it hard for real projects and their ability to plan/build long term (this creates it's own separate issues)
Crypto allows people to have access to a financial system that previously only few had access to, however that system had much longer holding times due partially to constraints (liquidity issues) and regulation
This longer time horizon allowed companies and projects to plan roadmaps, pivot to find PMF, and have a chance at going exponential!
If you've been around long enough you've seen or lived the crypto exponential Haseeb mentions from DeFi in it's early days to where it is today
For us all to see the exponential we need to be thinking longer term and maybe thinking about mechanisms to achieve this. These ideas are largely unpopular, but we may have trended too far in the opposite direction with recent cycles
Only time will tell and the only thing certain is no one has this Token thing figured out yet

With NFT floor prices down bad and comments around communities, you would think # Holders would have decreased
Looking at 7 NFTs only 2 of them had a decrease over the past year. The others have grown in # holders or were flat
Even though prices are down 50-90% for NFTs this year alone, it's possible that the size of communities have grown or stayed the same. So why such a large price decrease?
Would take some more data, but possible holder turnover with new holders have a different price point. This would also obv be combined with the general outlook of NFT's and what ownership actually means

Rather than assume I looked at every wallet that claimed and what they did
So far 10.2M $BORNE has been claimed by 1,279 wallets which is ~27% of Total Airdrop so quite a bit more left to claim
Of the wallets claiming, 54% of them are holding their tokens and did not transfer or sell immediately. This is a solid number when looking at other airdrops

TGE/Launch metrics are something I like to compare various tokens to see what users do with tokens
Once an address gets tokens their balance can either increase, decrease, or stay the same (unchanged). Plotting the # of wallets/tokens that end up in these 3 buckets shows a clear picture of what users are doing...
For $RCADE ~90% of wallets that claimed tokens had a balance decrease. This accounted for ~64% of all claimed tokens. Showing many, many wallets possibly sold asap
I compared to @virtuals_io $IRIS (I had data alrdy) and ~21% of wallets that claimed tokens had a balance decrease. This accounted for ~32% of all claimed tokens
I would tell you most launches in the past year look closer to RCADE and this is why I've been impressed by what Virtuals has been able to do...change mentality at launch, and think longer term

Had a very strong start and showing it vs IRIS and BAIBY to see the trends of point contributions
Market is rough today, maybe this is an opportunity?

Yapping for @virtuals_io and $VADER is the more volatile way for earning Points. From the last update it seems there's a multiplier if you yapp and net accumulate tokens
Personally, I like this combo and could be nice to factor in some staking
What I'm honestly looking for is when InfoFi systems move past X and can expand to Tik Tok and/or IG
IMO this is how onboarding more people could happen to grow the pie for all
As AI content continues to improve, I think this door will open and if you add a little InfoFi catalyst, think there are big possibilities
