If you are a beginner, over-reliance on AI can actually hurt your career.
When coding, ask yourself if you need to learn this thing or just get the task done. If learning is the goal, start with AI assistance disabled. Set up a shortcut to toggle AI completion on/off and use that when you get stuck.
If the goal is to get it done, be mindful of what you accept from AI. Review thoroughly and make sure you understand what AI is writing.
