Dec 22 Ahhh! @Modulz is finally opening their doors. Very excited to give this a spin. https://t.co/CtqG6eqiul 16 2 0 0 103 .
Dec 22 @ShaanVP https://t.co/HafcfFny8I 2 0 0 0 32 .
Dec 16 @xaviablaza @editmodelabs Haha love this. Yeah it started as a proof of concept 5 years ago, then went on hiatus to build @firstcircleph and picked it back up at the start of this year. You’re making me feel vulnerable digging around in there, god knows how bad the old stuff was 1 0 0 0 279 .
Dec 12 In the future, it won’t seem outlandish for a single person or small team to run many internet businesses in parallel, in the same way that dropshippers today run many e-commerce stores concurrently. 5 0 0 0 199 .
Dec 11 @fareesh @andrewculver None so far. That was my original assumption but @andrewculver saying he’d been using it since 2013 with no problem sold me 1 0 0 0 146 .

Dec 11 I saw this tweet and copied it 2 weeks ago, and I am never going back. It's the home theater version of home office, but it only cost $400, and I use it *minimum* 8 hours a day. Complete no brainer. https://t.co/QT8l3Hgucf 3 1 0 0 222 .
Dec 11 @david_perell https://t.co/YwexxGYiTz 0 0 0 0 37 .
Dec 08 @ani_pai Congrats! 2 0 0 0 18 .
Dec 06 Proud of my sister. If anyone is interested in genomics and/or data science you should go follow her, apparently she’s good at that stuff. https://t.co/TtmIVr88TJ 4 0 0 0 162 .
Dec 05 @DannPetty Not sure, but perhaps relevant https://t.co/StbyAlkY8u 0 0 0 0 66 .
Dec 05 @Julian There are definitely some scenarios where stating an alternative take can be additive, but picking a side and saying why your side is better, in a way that cuts like a knife is very rarely it. I think you should reword that one, but up to you of course 😁 0 0 0 0 262 .
Dec 05 @Julian Love your guides but I don't think people should optimize for (3). Long term people are wise to selfishness, which is what (3) is. You're sacrificing overall civility on the platform, making it worse for everyone, in exchange for followers. 1 0 0 0 248 .

Dec 04 Seconded 👇 https://t.co/MIYaBOGBUA 0 0 0 0 34 .
Dec 03 @DanPierson No prob 😁 hope all’s well! 1 0 0 0 38 .
Dec 03 @DanPierson Get an email client with a “block” function. Polymail has a nice feature where they send you a single weekly digest with all the subject lines from blocked senders, which is helpful because you can clearly see the progress. I was 100% getting emails from unsubscribed lists 1 0 0 0 285 .
Dec 03 @xaviablaza Next level on this - move the template to @editmodelabs so that you can update and evolve that copy as needs dictate 😁 We have a tutorial here in case you didn't see it: https://t.co/fap7iKxlgi Complete with personalization support 😁 1 0 0 0 246 .
Dec 03 @xaviablaza 😬 0 0 0 0 13 .
Dec 03 There are many structures and norms I feel are outdated, but I really think we'll look back incredulously at how tightly bundled "securing a place to live" and "having children/getting married" are. Sub-optimal in so many ways. 6 0 0 0 227 .
Dec 02 @devonzuegel @audible_com If you cancel and send them a strongly worded support email they’ll refund you. Happened me in April and I sent them almost verbatim what you wrote above. Such a user hostile policy, surprised they haven’t changed it yet. https://t.co/nhcf5CSFwg 2 0 0 0 271 .

Nov 30 @samselikoff What app is this? 0 0 0 0 30 .
Nov 30 Love this. The @editmodelabs version: Copy doesn’t belong in a codebase. Dropping that assumption unlocks a universe of currently-hidden potential. “They didn’t address a particular burning need now, but if adopted they would change how we did work and thought about work.” https://t.co/kpklLCjQ64 4 1 0 0 302 .
Nov 27 Hey @Cloudflare you've built an incredible product which I'd love to build my new business on. We're bootstrapped rn - is there any other way we could work together that doesn't require such heavy up-front cost (min $3k/mo) for the single feature (custom cache keys) we need? 😁 6 0 0 0 277 .
Nov 21 @jackbutcher @gill_works Oops just realised you said “time” profit which is accurate 2 0 0 0 84 .
Nov 21 @jackbutcher @gill_works If you’re only measuring time yes. But incorporating things like flow, cognitive bandwidth and opportunity cost it likely pays off much sooner 🙂 12 0 0 0 169 .

Nov 16 @spendeeapp Roughly what date guys? I'm using it to manage/understand small biz with contractors and this has completely hamstrung me, created a huge time sink 😔 0 0 0 0 161 .
Nov 14 Super excited to try this out https://t.co/Up1l0Uz4Wg 1 0 0 0 53 .
Nov 12 @Altimor 100% possible though if you have a car. If you buy https://t.co/tmYV4XAhZB plus 2 monitors and screw together, you have a single foldable item that you can carry reasonably easily. Hooks on to any table in 2 minutes. This was my most recent airbnb. The chair is the tricky part https://t.co/oZ5Qs0HFqn 1 0 0 0 313 .
Nov 12 @maxharris9 @TulsiGabbard Have had that happen before due to sync issues (twitter shows immediately on the frontend so it's snappy, but it hasn't hit their API yet). 0 0 0 0 165 .
Nov 10 @zackkanter You’re both wrong 😬 0 0 0 0 31 .
Nov 10 @mattwensing Love this definition. Can very much relate 2 0 0 0 55 .
Nov 08 Holy crap. I get migrations are hard but "We're going to disable our entire product til {indefinite date some point in the future}" is a next-level 🖕 to paying customers from @spendeeapp https://t.co/z0t3muYkXf 1 0 0 0 210 .
Nov 07 Is there any way to run an embeddable rails repl the same way I can run a frontend repl with codesandbox? Looks like @replit killed rails support. cc @rails_apps @GoRails ? 0 0 0 0 172 .
Nov 06 I think there’s a big community/movement in this idea waiting for the right person to lead it. https://t.co/Rr9VcoeWTw 8 0 0 0 118 .

Nov 03 @PaulJosephCox @thechurchco Cool! If you're interested, my product may be of use to you/your customers - we have a react client library that allows customers to make content changes inline, including white-label mode for use cases like yours. Nov 02 @Mqsley @iamkeerthij Not specifically for the mailer part, but we have the Editmode Rails Basics Explainer: https://t.co/KZq8lTlNPJ I also did a zero-to-full-rails-codebase video on the weekend if you're starting from scratch: https://t.co/UQkSWByz2X Codebase here: https://t.co/fmRhZZ7beK 0 0 0 0 291 .
Nov 02 @nocodelife Not first hand as I haven't used it, but @QuorumChat might be worth checking out. 3 0 0 0 93 .
Nov 02 @iamkeerthij We use Editmode - allows new emails to be set up in a web interface, then triggered with a single line in the codebase. Still needs a mail API but no need to create mailer templates. Full guide here: https://t.co/48qXM26kEg https://t.co/sSFk1UQfDz 3 0 0 0 260 .
Oct 31 Got some time to dig into @github codespaces during the week. So powerful what can be done when the barrier of setting up an environment is removed. For example, here's zero to full-featured @tailwind/@editmodelabs/@rails website in 10 minutes. 🤯 https://t.co/UQkSWBQ9Uv 2 0 0 0 274 .

Oct 24 @adamwathan hey! I'm in the process of launching a technical product, working on docs & trying to prioritise what kind of content to focus on - particularly whether to do step-by-step written guides &/or screencasts. Wondering if you have any insight or pointers from Tailwind? 0 0 0 0 285 .

Oct 20 Rebel Fitness Tech: iOS/Android fitness platform in the Philippines. Friend decided to build this in May. We pulled together a *tiny* but awesome team (1 react-native dev) & did 45 minute daily calls. They just hit 100,000 users 30 days after launch 🎉 https://t.co/OOKd1OEV7T https://t.co/SpG5r9V1zh 4 0 0 0 307 .
Oct 16 @0900mihir @anthilemoon @david_perell Weird timing for this to show up on my feed. Just finished adding @david_perell's content to @atlas_knowledge, will polish over the weekend and share the link with you if you like. https://t.co/3meT1psnuY 1 0 0 0 242 .
Oct 14 My experience is the psychology of Capitalism-as-an-incentive-system, for the avg. entrepreneur is closer to “I enjoy making progress” than “I want status & power". It starts with a goal like freedom or fame, but perpetuates because it feels weird to stop https://t.co/qKaKrBUnVo 3 0 0 0 283 .

Oct 12 @Goltra What could it beeeee 0 0 0 0 28 .
Oct 10 @peteromallet I love how you tried to put it nicely to save me the embarrassment ❤️ 0 0 0 0 83 .
Oct 10 @peteromallet I was saying the opposite! Didn't have enough characters but my point is that execution happens in the real world and is usually iterative, so most execution writing is after-the-fact - SOPs & playbooks, and most before-the-fact execution writing is effectively strategy. 0 0 0 0 289 .
Oct 10 A thing I've noticed a lot of organizations do when adopting a "Writing Culture" (which I'm a big proponent of) is not distinguish between writing focused on strategy vs execution. The latter is useful for co-ordination, and easy to do, but all of the returns come from the former 0 0 0 0 280 .
Oct 10 @aaronzlewis Also because speaking is an order of magnitude faster than typing, conversation with a good interlocutor is often a much quicker way to do the thinking that writing forces. It’s kind of amazing that interviewers/scribes still aren’t really a thing. 2 0 0 0 261 .
Oct 10 @webflow getting this on your homepage, any ideas? https://t.co/DyJOxGHfVW 0 0 0 0 74 .

Oct 07 @mattwensing Haha I agree! And from then on I would be surprised if someone stopped before 7. 2 0 0 0 93 .
Oct 07 @mattwensing I once asked a salesperson why he was still emailing me after 6 no-responds, and he sent me a blog post saying 7 was the magic number. 5 0 0 0 147 .

Oct 05 @TylerAlterman I like where this idea is going. Examples? 1 0 0 0 57 .
Oct 04 This is true, but could be even truer if we were better at critiquing and being critiqued. Otherwise the feedback loop isn’t really a loop. Twitter culture (maybe human nature) still leans more towards antagonistic criticism on one side and thin skin on the other, among strangers https://t.co/svJrVxOoW3 2 1 0 0 304 .

Sep 30 Spent 20 minutes yesterday trying to get Notion to embed a metabase dashboard, then randomly came across the solution today in an email from 4 years ago. Amazing it's still not updated. https://t.co/oGJrNTmUVS 1 0 0 0 209 .
Sep 30 In the same vein as this 👇, I think a great result with Atlas would be to make *summarizing, categorizing and sharing content* (a narrower version of thinking in public) both socially acceptable and completely frictionless. https://t.co/Ug1parBhSd 3 0 0 0 248 .
Sep 30 A weird side effect of creating a single page with all my notes is that I now don't like to save something without adding some (very light) bullet points, which has the added effect of ensuring I'm actually *getting* what i'm reading. https://t.co/wZYcviMhCG 3 0 0 0 258 .
Sep 30 @eriktorenberg Lots of thoughts on clubhouse, but don’t think that’s what it shows. Clubhouse isn’t “the conversation” as you’ve described it. No visual cues or body language, an audience, very rarely only 2 people etc. 0 0 0 0 219 .
Sep 29 Thinking about Twitter and collective learning. We know by now that the medium shapes the message, but I don’t think the penny has dropped yet on the impact of having a medium that makes thinking in public both socially acceptable *and* completely frictionless. 4 0 0 0 261 .
Sep 29 @LFeldmanBarrett @vanyang Nice! Will check it out! 0 0 0 0 50 .

Sep 29 Every now and then, you come across a model that has 10x more explanatory power than your previous way of thinking. @LFeldmanBarrett's theory of how emotions work is one of those for me - feels like I gained a key piece of missing conceptual vocabulary. https://t.co/vfXO769yo6 https://t.co/0sKVnonvPL 10 1 0 0 302 .

Sep 28 @sarahtavel Hey Sarah! Came across this in your "Developer Renaissance" piece. Interested in whether now, 8 years later, software development has been democratized to the extent you thought it might have by this point? https://t.co/NgS1kMb8s6 0 0 0 0 242 .

Sep 27 Most important feature so far is ingestion. Goal is to make this as frictionless as possible while also collecting more information than just the url. Multiply this by X number of links and we quickly build a database of topics and people that previously didn't exist. https://t.co/QoRjLxHUX8 2 0 0 0 295 .

Sep 27 So far, I'm calling it Atlas. Some soundbites I'm playing with: - Share and curate what you read and listen to - Find and follow your favourite thinkers - The internet’s missing knowledge meta-layer - A platform for collective learning https://t.co/2FP7h2ADlJ 8 0 0 0 260 .
Sep 27 I built a tool to save and share what I'm reading and listening to, but now I've used it for a few months I think it could be much bigger, so I'm starting a #buildinpublic thread to create some accountability for getting it launch ready. 👇 https://t.co/L2UOp39D0p 9 2 0 0 264 .
Sep 27 @tylertringas @airtable @heroku @Sirupsen On the no-codebase side, there's a spectrum of configurability/ease of use with @retool on one end and @ForestAdmin on the other - we ended up with Forest which I found great but the engineers weren't big on. Also worth checking out @BaseDashHQ (yc) and https://t.co/vZA1nLloAp https://t.co/OCITrNLAdS 0 0 0 0 343 .
